I’m sorry you found our plugin to complex to mange. There are only a lot of options to support the robust functionality that has been requested by our large user base over the years. These options however don’t really have to be touched at all, they are all set with effective defaults that will load the plugin in a simple stock configuration. If you want to use the plugin in a simple manner, just don’t adjust the options page, and use the default shortcodes.
[RICH_REVIEWS_FORM] (placed on any page will place a form for review collection)
[RICH_REVIEWS_SHOW] (placed on any page will display reaviews, three by default, more can be displayed by addin the num parameter to the shortcode. [RICH_REVIEWS_SHOW num=”12″] to show 12, and [RICH_REVIEWS_SHOW num=”all”] to show all reviews.)
[RICH_REVIEWS_SNIPPET] (will display an average review snippet)
Easy enough, if that’s how you wish to use it. It has simply been built with advanced functionality to support the needs of individuals with perhaps more technical skills who wish to leverage the functionality of the plugin for a customized and tailored integration. I understand this is not the case for all users, and hence that’s why the plugin can be used out of the box in a simple format without the need for knowledge of and management of, the advanced settings.
