Not connected message?

    Hi. My theme has an opt-in form built in that I have integrated with Mail chimp. It used to work fine. I just tested it now and and when you hit submit, it takes you to a white page that says “Verify Nonce Failed”.

    Also, my status says Not Connected, despite the fact that all of my information is filled in.

    I would like to add, I am using some 3rd party opt in forms that are also integrated with Mail Chimp, and those are working fine.

    Oh…I also see the message:

    MailChimp returned the following error:
    Internal Server Error. A deep, internal error has occurred during the processing of your request. Please contact support.

    Hi,

    First of all, make sure you are using our plugin: MailChimp for WordPress.

    That error is returned by the MailChimp API and is a pretty general error message.

    Please generate a new API key and try again with the new key.

    If that doesn’t solve this problem, generate the error and then login to your MailChimp.com account and go to account – settings – Extra – API. On the bottom of that page you will find the log of the last API calls. It might contain a more detailed error message that might help you solve the problem. If not, please take a screenshot of that API log and email it to support at mc4wp.com referring to this thread.
