we are sorry for your disappointment. We do specify on the landing pages before the add to cart button that the license entitles you to 1 year of updates and support service. When the license is about to expire, we send a reminder email to inform our customers. Moreover, since you have purchased the plugin when our products were not subscription-based yet, you could have taken advantage of a 50% discount on the renewal. The reason for not being able to download a plugin when the license has expired is due to the fact that the version available for the download is always the latest and updated one.
