There’s not much to respond to. I can’t reproduce the problem. The widget works fine.

Your answer is not very usefull Otto : several users tell you that the plugin doesn’t work for them, and neither do I. There must be a bug somewhere…

I’m sure Otto would give you the solution if he could replicate the problem. Otto’s response indicates that he needs more information from @cyberlp23.

Sorry, at the time I just forgot about it and used another plugin…
I’ve tried it again just now, and it does work. I have absolutely no idea why it didn’t at the time.

@andrew: the only thing is that Otto could have given a series of usual problems encountered, and configuration prerequisites (such as not forgetting to use the unfilterd_role or adding the <?php > tags, and there are probably more), instead of just saying “it works just fine.” It didn’t at the time, and apparently it still doesn’t for some users.

Yes, that’s it cyberlp23. Sorry if I’m quite rude : english is not my language : I’m french… I think I will find a solution, I hope so. I tried other plugins, I tried a code without plugin (via funtion.php) but I can’t display a php code. Never. I think maybe there is something with the WP theme (Customizr by Cryout Creations) which prevents me from doing so…

If I knew the problem, I would fix it or answer it. But I don’t. The plugin is a text widget that also parses PHP. It can’t not work unless you’re doing something wrong. Without knowing what you’re putting into it, I can’t help any further. Sorry.

The code given works for me on test sites and live sites. That’s the best I can say.
