CSV file does not display accented characters properly

  • Excel is having troubles to read the downloaded CSV file properly when it contains accented characters.

    To reproduce:

    – Download a CSV file with targets that contain non-English characters (such as é, ?, ü, etc)
    – Opening with Microsoft Excel will result UTF-8 compliant issue

    Observed Results:     “TestPageDraft fran?§ais”
    Expected Results: “TestPageDraft fran?ais”
