I have just upgrade to 3.0.0 and my reviews are not displaying.

For some reason the plugin was deactivated after the update. The page was displaying the short code only. After activating again there is no display. Reviews are stored and do exist.

I have checked the short codes and settings – can not see what the problem can be.

You can downgrade to 2.x for now. I’ll keep an eye out for any more reports of issues like this to see if we can pinpoint what it might be.

Thanks Please give me a link to download the previous version. I do not have a copy of it.

    Do not know what happened!

I have downloaded, what I thought a previous version, renamed the 3.0.0 installation to old and uploaded the ‘previous version’ via FTP.

When checking my plugins I realized that the version is the same 3.0.0

I deleted the newly uploaded version and renamed 3.0.0 to its original name.

I added an apology on my review page (for not working) but when I reloaded the page the reviews are showing! Made no other changes.

I have checked the new features and love it! Hopefully there is not a ‘funny’ somewhere which can stuff it up! Will monitor closely and keep you updated.

    Good work guys!

On normal posts it is working, but I need it on custom post types. It is not showing there at the moment.

Here is the Problem after I updated it to the new Version: 3.0.0 Lite the “Create your own review” button does not work any more.
We are a travel operator and reviews are very important for us. I send emails to every customer to create a review. Today I send 4 of them it is a very bad situation for me…what will our customer think when I send them an email and the reviews dont work?!

Hi Laubuster. Have you tried to use the short code [WPCR_INSERT]. This display the button.

Hercul56 – sounds like your page was cached either in WP or in your browser. Do you use a caching plugin? Or there could be a gremlin somewhere.

For those who “need” to downgrade to 2.x, follow this guide: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-downgrade-to-2x

If you are experiencing a bug or have a feature request, please submit it to our issue tracker at https://competelab.fogbugz.com/default.asp?pg=pgPublicEdit so we can manage them easier than this forum. Thanks!

Bompus – you right. I do use a caching plugin – can explain a lot of the issues I had! Will check it out.
