Not displaying on Pages

    Using the Twenty Seventeen theme, my personalized sidebar appears as it should on Posts. When I select the same sidebar on a Page, it does not show up. All other plugins are disabled since I’m troubleshooting this problem.

  • Custom Sidebars works by replacing existing sidebars dynamically. Pages in the Twenty-Seventeen theme do not display sidebars by default. Adding a widget area to your theme will take some customizing. Many people have requested this for the Twenty-Seventeen theme so there are tutorials available for adding a sidebar to your theme.

    I have not tried this specific tutorial. If you are able to create the sidebar area you will be able to display a custom sidebar on your pages. I hope this helps!
