Hi @audioscavenger,
I am sorry that our plugin did not meet your expectations. Please let me try to explain this to you.
Our plugin allows you to convert to the WebP format for free without any restrictions. Most other plugins have a limit for converting to WebP format, but our plugin does not have these limits.
Please tell me, do you still think the plugin deserves one star in this situation?
Converting to the AVIF format is available in the PRO version and this is indicated in the plugin description. We do not have a trial version because it does not make sense in our opinion. To check the effects of image conversion, you need to optimize all images on your website. Introducing a trial version for a limited number of images would not allow testing the plugin. However, the trial version without limits on the number of images but with a time limit would be difficult to control. In this version, images are converted using our remote server, but are saved on your server. If you converted all your images using the trial version and then abandoned the trial version, those images would remain on your server anyway.
I hope you understand our point of view.
We care about the satisfaction of our customers, so if someone bought the PRO version and is not satisfied, they will receive a refund. Our goal is to offer honest, high-quality services. You also don’t have to buy the PRO version to estimate the effects of converting images to the AVIF format on your website. On our website, you can provide the URL address of your website and we will show you how much your original images weigh, how much they will weigh when converted to the WebP format, and how much they will weigh when converted to the AVIF format.
Please tell me what you think about this?
I will be grateful if you reply to my message. I want to clarify this matter and find a common solution. Thank you in advance for your willingness to cooperate.
Best,
Mateusz
