Not even new events added will appear on calendar

    I’m using WordPress 5.9.3 and Sydney Theme but none of my events are recognized by the calendar. I’ve changed theme to twenty twenty and I’ve disabled all plugins EXCEPT Events Calendar and still nothing. I’ve tried checking Block editor and unchecking the Block editor within the Calendar settings and clearing cache from Chrome but no change.

    The solution was to go to Event Settings Display tab and check “Use updated calendar designs.

    I wish that tip had been on the things to check list. The calendar is stuck in List display but at least the events are on that much.

    Kudos for finding a fix and sharing it! It also looks like you were able to get the month view working ??

    Normally the updated design option is checked by default on new installs.
    Wasn’t that the case for you?

    To your point, this is particularly important since we are about to sunset the “old designs”. In fact, we are no longer supporting them since last August.
