We just migrated our site to a new host. Some .mp3 filenames had German special characters in them, and the filenames were inadvertently changed at some point during the migration. Links to those files are now broken, but they are not being detected by Broken Link Checker. I was hoping to use it to see how much of a mess I have.

    For example, see https://lottelehmannleague.org/lehmann-speaks-sings-teaches-dichterliebe/

Scroll down to the first embedded audio link beneath the third image. This link is broken, but it is not detected by the link checker.

    Can anyone help? Thank you.

    Hi @suchipsa

    I hope you’re well today!

I did some testing on my end and I can confirm that the plugin is not detecting such broken links. In fact, it seems that it’s not detecting audio embeds at all, regardless of the settigns.

I have reported it to our Broken Link Checker Team as a bug and our developers will look into it to fix it with one of future releases.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi @suchipsa

I hope you are doing well.

As my friend told, we reported this issue to the plugin developers, I’m afraid we can’t give an estimated time to release the fixed version as we are working on a big update.

I’ll go and mark this thread as resolved.

However, feel free to let us know if you have any additional question or problem.

    Best Regards
    Patrick Freitas
