Not For The Average User

Whilst a nice plugin, this is definitely NOT for the average user.

And I have to say, of those so far tried, many if not all are simply written far to complicated.

Imagine being a first time user to SQL/CSV DB’s and wanting to perform an import into a WP – Using this Plugin is a nightmare!

The GUI should provide simple and easy to understand explanation of each function. As an example ‘TRUE’ and ‘FALSE’ statements to a non programmer means nothing.

I like the KISS (Keep It Simple) approach :

1) A plugin that allows the admin/user to upload any CSV file,
2) Shows user fields on left and WP fields on right,
3) Allows to the then MAP/Create field content to WP fields,
4) Backs up existing WP content before installing new data,

And rather than luring a user to install a plugin only to then find out its limited in terms of functionality as a non-pro version; why not allow for 7 trial so the user can at least become familiar with it?

I wouldn’t buy any plugin until I can first understand how it works, become competent in its use.

Other than that and if you have tech background – its perfect for you.
