Not formatting UpDraft messages with latest version 1.3.1.1

Hello, that is the same thing for me, I am using WP Fastest Cache.

Could you please see what is going bad with that plugin?

The change in 1.3.1.1 adds formatting and sanitization if the email is not HTML. If the email it’s already HTML no extra formatting it’s added because it should be already formated and sanitized from the source that it’s sending it.

You can’t provide access to any of the sites you have affected? I can’t reproduce error locally so I don’t know what to fix

In fact I checked my code and previously I was added \r\n to the end of my strings to add line breaks.

But now I need to add <br> or to add my strings into an html <p> with css and it works !

But I do not know why \r\n worked in the past.

Same problem here!

I′m using Formidable Forms to send emails as plain text when a form is submitted. In version 1.3 everything worked fine. After upgrading to version 1.3.1.1 all line breaks in all emails are gone.

What can I do to fix this?

The simple basic contact form also uses \n to signal line breaks.

It looks like whatever the change in 1.3.1.1 was that added formatting and sanitization if the email is not HTML, is responsible for stripping the line breaks

I still can’t reproduce the issue on my local site. Could any provide screenshots or access to a site with the issue?

When I send this text wiht formidable forms, or simple contact forms

This is a test. First line.

Second line with space in the middle.
Third line without space.

Fourth line with space in the middle.

I get the same:

I just sent you a message direct from the contact form. Message was:-

This is a test message using Simple Basic Contact Form. First line.

Second line with space in the middle.
Third line without space.

Fourth line with space in the middle.

When I receive the message it shows as:-

This is a test message using Simple Basic Contact Form. First line. Second line with space in the middle. Third line without space. Fourth line with space in the middle.

Do you get the same?
