I am getting several crawl errors in Google Webmaster tools that my pages are not found. I recently added the sitemap plugin so maybe that will correct the issue. Below are them messages:

    Any information is appreciated!

    Old (now defunct) pages perhaps?

    For example, https://dropdeadpolitics.com/page/2/
    is now:
    https://dropdeadpolitics.com/?paged=2

Thanks esmi. Do you know why that page changed? All I have done is add content and I did not change the structure. The only think I can think of is the Google XML Sitemaps plugin. Could this have restructured my site and caused this issue? Is this something I need to worry about? Thanks again!

No – Google XML Sitemaps simply creates a list of your existing pages. Did you set up custom permalinks recently? And perhaps clear out / re-organize your tags or categories? That’s what it looks like to me.

I changed my theme using Artisteer. Could that be the culprit? Do I need to worry about these crawl errors since the pages are apparently dead?

I wouldn’t worry about any crawl errors that you’ve confirmed as “dead pages”
