I think your comment is unfair as the free version has a lot of functionality and the pro version extends this with some more comprehensive options. This is the way most free/pro plugins work.
I’m sorry the free version does not meet your needs but if there wasn’t a pro version then I wouldn’t be able to commit to developing and maintaining the free version. I hope that makes sense.
The free version is actively installed on over 60,000 sites and yours was the first negative comment that I have received since I released the pro version, which speaks volumes for what the plugin offers.
