not friendly w latest woocommerce update

  • Curr vers of installed plugins: Woocommerce 2.3.7 // Menu Cart 2.5.5

    Woocommerce menu cart plugin works great when I add products to the shopping cart from the product archive page. However, if I am on a single product page and attempt to add items to cart by clicking the add to cart button, the menu cart totals (displayed on the top right of the page) do not update. In chrome, the menu cart display ‘flickers’ which has me thinking that something is misfiring.

    When I go to the shopping cart page,the page content displays all added products (from both product archive page and single product pages) and totals have been updated. However, the menu cart totals do not update and only display the totals of items added while on the product archive page.

    I also noticed that menu cart does not update totals if I remove items from the shopping cart.

    The site is currently functioning in maintenance mode. I tested for the above problems while in admin mode on one browser (Firefox) AND also as a user from a different browser (Chrome). I cleared browsing data and cache from each browser before testing, but the problem continues.

    Hi there!

    Sounds like an ajax issue. Can you update to version 2.5.6 and test the ‘use built in ajax’ feature at the bottom of the plugin settings page? You might need to close all tabs of your site to clear cache after making the change.
