• WordPress just updated to 4.5 and various plugins (not just Mp3-jPlayer) started having issues. However, I think mine is peculiar and as well related to the WordPress update. I simply need a workaround for now until you release an update.

My WordPress Website home page has sections. Now, if I include the Mp3 jplayer in any of the sections, the page background of the other sections below it simply disappear. Check https://www.nvalve.net VS other pages on the website, it is different.

If I place the player as the last section, and because no other sections are below it, the page looks fine. But I really need the player on the first section, beside the video to create the UX I really want.

Now I checked out what was having (with the aid of a tech guy) and we discovered that the plugin is closing the <div> that houses other sections too early thereby leaving out other sections without a page background – only the website background. Without the player widget, everything loads fine.

So my question/request: I really love this player – it’s the best out there. I really have to use it on the first section of the home page. Please, what should I do to make it happen

I have searched the internet for over 24 hours yet with no useful solution. I have looked and looked (via FTP) where I can effect a change or move the sections (on my theme I guess) under the <div> which the plugin is making to close early

PLEASE, what can I do? The project is being delayed.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL plugin and I feel like shouting it to the WORLD!!!

Thanks for creating such wonderful plugin.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I had a look at your page source, there is an extra closing div but it seems to be coming from somewhere else. I tested by using a validator, and removing all of the player markup. The page still does not validate because of the extra closing div. Is it possible it’s being added into a content area somewhere?

    Thank you for the response.

Okay. I thought it was a wordpress update to 4.5. So I decided to try the Theme and Plugin on one of my websites that I have not upgraded the WordPress and it is still the same thing (www.johnbasseys.com). So the problem is not with WordPress but likely to be with the Theme or Plugin. When I remove the plugin, it shows fine but include it and everything goes Kaboom!

I deactivated every other plugin and it is still the same thing. I really need help.

Another idea came to my mind again. I want to do a wordpress reset (on https://www.johnbasseys.com) and build the Home page myself without importing Demo of the theme (that’s what I’ve been doing)

THANKS AGAIN for the response. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Okay. Tried it and it is still the same.

Let me use an older version of the theme.

It still did not work. But I got arround it. I loaded it as a sidebar and I like the way it fits noe on nvalve.net. Thanks for all the support!
