NOT Fully Customisable! Pro is overpriced.

Before you buy the Pro version, let me notify you that this theme colours is NOT 100% customisable as is advertised. You cannot assign any colour to the text-entry boxes for comments or other forms; if you select “dark theme” it sets ALL text to white which includes the text in your forms, so users cannot even see what they are entering into the forms. If you select “Default Theme” the comment boxes are bright white and all entry forms can be dark with white text in them, so now users can see what they are writing but can’t read what other people have written…it’s so broken, even in the paid version, and it’s been broken for over a year with no sign of getting fixed.
As for the Header positions? They’re a mess. If you want a header image anywhere on the Pro theme then good luck with that, because even if you disable your websites Title/Description/Logo area it leaves this huge ugly blank space on the left instead of distributing space properly for items you put on the right side. Images and Ads you insert on the right side and expand will just shoot off to the right even more instead of centring or moving more to the left.
All the customisation menus are also all over the place and it gets very confusing figuring out where to go to change something, as instead of keeping all colouring options under one menu it is split up and found under two. The entire structure of the theme is a mess and it is very difficult to make anything look good out of it with any artwork, it is probably meant for minimalist users, which begs to differ considering they are asking for $49 for the Pro version.
I paid for the Pro version, luckily at a huge discount, and I still wound up feeling cheated. I used a child-theme for the free EggNews for over a year with little problems, and when I saw the Pro version of EggNews had supposedly more customisation than the free one I happily decided to pay for the upgrade, only to get slapped in the face by all these bugs.

Do NOT buy the Pro version, it is not worth the money. Stick to the free one and better yet, use a child-theme that uses this one as they are a lot easier to use.
