Not getting blog content showing on the blog page

  • Coraline theme – I am having a problem with not getting the blog content showing on my blog page. My front page is static & that is how I want it. I made a new page for blog posts (named blog), but when I go to the page in preview, it says contents not found.

    I do not wish to have my blog on the front page but want a blog on my website.

    can someone help me with this please? Thank you

    Thanks for that. I have actually looked at that but the problem is the blog page. My front page is set as static… that is in order but, why does the content not show on the blog page (which is not the front page). And also, when adding a post, it does not show up anywhere – certainly doesn’t appear on the “blog” page. If you can throw light on that … I cannot find the answer in the above link. So sorry!

    what happens if you publish the ‘blog’ page and view it then from the front end, after having it set as ‘posts page’ under ‘dashboard – settings – reading’ ?
