Not getting data from single.php

  • Hey there,
    I have some data in my single.php theme and when I switch to mobile, I don’t see that data (some text and an image html link).

    What can I do to show that text and image on mobile version?

  • Hi,

    WPtouch loads its own theme (with its own single.php), so anything that is custom to the desktop theme can’t be ‘seen’ by WPtouch.

    You can add the data to WPtouch’s single.php by using WPtouch Pro’s child theme support. In WPtouch Pro, you can very easily create child themes and add custom page templates or customize existing ones and even add custom functions. In essence, anything that is done to your regular WordPress theme can be done to your mobile theme, and WPtouch Pro’s Make a Child Theme extension makes the process even easier.
