Not good and caution about 5-star reviews
-
First, about the plugin. The basic idea is it automatically generates internal links in your posts, providing more internal referencing (and I think in theory, greater SEO advantages). The problem with the free version is that the links generated completely random. After running this plugin, I noticed my posts were modified with linked words seemingly at random. At best this does no good for visitors and is confusing, and at worst this will be viewed as black hat SEO practices. Whatever the case, it’s not good.
Now in theory, this plugin is interesting (hence, the two stars). If there were a way to automatically generate links to *relevant* posts, then this could be a terribly helpful plugin.
Alas, the failure of this plugin to provide a helpful web site experience is compounded by the fish-like smell coming from its horde of 5-star reviews. You might notice, like I did, a theme that emerges in these reviews: pretty short, the reviewers have one review to their names, and the reviewers’ WordPress accounts were created around the same time.
This tells me enough. Run away from this plugin before it’s too late.
