    Hi @coolbird ,

Just to let you know that we recently released a big update for FileBird (v 6.2.3), which addresses a lot of issues and improved a lot of features too.

Please try it and we hope it runs smoothly for you now?

Do let us know if you still need support.

    Regards,
    Bruce

It’s still laggy when the search event fired. Once again I have about 22000 folders. All folder structures have 2 levels (parents and children only)

I think your code has memory leaks

    Hello @coolbird ,

I can confirm that FileBird v.6 + work smoothly when you have more than 20,000 thousands folders.

Regarding the laggy report when searching, we already added a filter here to make it work faster and smoother:

    https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/filebird/integrations/developer-zone/filters

Please take a look in “Filter”: Switch from searching using JavaScript to using an API

    Hi @coolbird ,

I am glad to know that this worked for you now.

    So, please note that the reason why we can’t add all features as a core is because of so many reason, some of which are;

    • Sometimes, only 1 in a million users would require a certain feature (as in this very case of yours for instance).
    • We try as much as possible to have the plugin’s code to be as lightweight as possible so it can run fast and efficiently on your website.
    • Too many rarely used features will confuse basic users and thus make for a bad User Experience.

By the way, since we have reached a satisfactory position together, we do hope you will consider changing your ratings to 5 stars to motivate our dev team to develop more awesome features for FileBird ??

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Bruce
