Not happy with Lite version

  • Easy to work with, but the form does not work according to the Lite version. Will not email to the form creator after filling out the form and sending. You have to purchase the Pro version in order for it to work apparently. It should have been easy to set up and operate, yet it simply will not work. I’m going back to a FREE version that we’ve used before and are happy with it. For the price of this Pro version, if the Lite does not work properly, then why pay for a Pro version? “It’s so easy.” It was easy to unplug this WPForm and use something else. That appeared to work just fine.

    I’m sorry you experienced issues with email deliverability, and it’s certainly frustrating. This isn’t actually a Lite/Pro issue, but a result of anti-spam efforts by email providers — unfortunately legitimate emails are increasingly getting caught in these, sometimes getting sent to spam and sometimes not getting delivered at all.

    The fix, and the best preventative measure regardless of whether you stick with our plugin or use another, is to install an SMTP plugin. SMTP authenticates emails sent from your site, marking them at legitimate for email providers. Here’s our tutorial on SMTPs – that covers our recommended options, as well as tutorials on each.
