It’s there, but it’s not accessible to the public at the moment. I’m following up some issues in this regard with the plugins team here at www.ads-software.com and will post an update to this thread when I have further details.

A further update; while this issue is being resolved, the latest Calendar files can be downloaded from the following SVN link

ok, thanks for this quick reply.

Do you have details of the issue ?

I have received a communication from the plugins team. A policy related issue has been brought to my attention, which is the cause of their making the plugin unavailable at this time via www.ads-software.com

The policies referred to in this communication are here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/about/guidelines/

While I take time to respond to this I’d like to clarify the following for yourself and all other Calendar users

    • The unavailability is not security related. There are no outstanding security related bug reports concerning Calendar lodged with me, nor have I been made aware of any other reasons why Calendar is not safe to use.
    • Users can continue to use Calendar on their websites as normal despite www.ads-software.com not carrying a current download link. Installs can be carried out manually using files obtained via the SVN link previously posted if required
    • Support will be available as normal either here, or via my own forums, whichever the user prefers

I will post further updates as and when I have them.

Thanks for letting me know I use it in 70 sites. It’s going to be a ton of work for me to remove ??

    Hi Kieran
I have the smartest looking date plugins in WP on just one of my blogs; it’s called “Calendar” ??
Any further word of its availability? I don’t think I can do the SVN link thingo without messing up … wouldn’t even know where to start … ??
Thank you once again for the ideal plugin

    (the blog with Calendar)

UPDATE: I surprise myself sometimes so I went to the SVN link and managed to zip up those files and even activated the plugin BUT… first, it wasn’t what I expected. It resulted in a complete month calendar and not just the one day date I was expecting, with the blue background and the gold and white text color.
Second,I am using a plugin called “Display Widgets” that is working fine with no widget ads on the homepage. My problem here is I don’t seem to have an option to change the page settings as I do on the other widgets. I am wanting the Calendar on the homepage Something I’m missing or it just can’t be done. I welcome your input on both my queries, thankyou, Kieran. Below is the link to the disputed Calendar:

Another UPDATE: All is well! I somehow doubled up and had the Calander plugin I was hoping for on the very bottom of the widget list whilst the calendar I didn’t want was at the top. Yet I still struck problems and solved it by copying the code from the other blog … and there it was, nicely sitting on the homepage only, just the way I wanted it. Great stuff! Thank you,Kieran.

Just to give everyone a long awaited update on this. Hopefully the plugin should soon be making a return to the repository soon – I’m just waiting to hear back from the WordPress plugins team. When I do I’ll post another update here.

Further to my last post, the plugin is now back online in the repository
