Not jumping to different page then scrolling to section

  • Hi, I have a main menu with links to sections on my home page that scroll fine. The problem is when your on another page it doesnt jump to page and scroll to id. I have put full paths and enabled the “Scroll to target id (e.g. <div id=”id” />) based on location hash (e.g. mysite.com/mypage#id) on page load”. You can see this at https://www.samdines.com and by scrolling to portfolio and opening an item page, from there when i click about me i want it to jump to homepage and scroll to that section but its not. Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

    Hi,

    I just checked your page. Your theme has this loading effect (logo with loader icon) which “reveals” the fully loaded page after few seconds. Because of this, “Page scroll to id” cannot scroll to the target the moment the page has loaded.

    Try setting a delay for the “Scroll to location hash” option (“Delay” field below option checkbox). Insert a value between 1500 to 3000 (i.e. 1.5-3 seconds) so page scrolling happens after the “reveal” effect.
