    Hi @sebastiantho

This is Jamie from Scrollsequence. I understand you’re having issues, I’m happy to help you out.

Is your Scrollsequence plugin updated to its latest 1.3.3 version?

Could you please share with us the page with this issue, so we can have a look?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind regards,
    Jamie

    Hi sebastiantho,

I had a look on a mac device and the sequence was not visible and I could not see any immediate errors.

May I ask you to try and turn on all developer information from the plugin UI?

Scrollsequence Edit Screen -> (bottom right of the screen) -> Scrollsequence Settings -> Show Development Information -> Turn on all and hit save.

I hope that this information would help me to find the root cause.

I had a look and could not find a root cause of the problem.

Below are some of my suggestions to resolve the issue:

    1) There is an error message related to Youtube “Unable to post message to youtube.com. Recipient has origin leesign.dk” – This error is also present on other machines, but on the Mac device I have tested, this message is the very last. My suspicion is that this messages stops part of the JavaScript execution and may cause the error.
Could you please try to remove anything Youtube related from that page to get rid of the error and try again?
You can see the error in Javascript console, once it’s gone, I believe Scrollsequence script could work normally.

    2) Try to adjust the preload percentage in Scrollsequence options. The default is 12%, try to adjust it to the minimum and maximum values to try and see if the animation starts loading.

    3) The usual “plugin” incompatibility – try to turn off all other third party plugins and try with all plugins disabled if it helps.

Other than that I cannot think of any other way how to resolve the issue.

Let me know if any of the above helps, if not I will try again and do some additional tests to try and find out why the execution stops.

It seems you were right! Changing the videos from a youtube source to a local one fixed it. Thanks Ales.

    Happy days!

I must say that it is strange that it works elsewhere, but breaks on Safari.

Thanks for reporting this and I will try to understand why it happens in the first place.

    Closing the issue now.
