Not loading plugin assets on search result page

Sorry, I don’t know this software yet and I don’t know why it does not work. Maybe you ask the creators of TGMPA what goes wrong. Or did they tell you to ask me?

Hello, many many thanks for your immediate support. TGMPA is not the main issue. This plugin is not working the search result page (Gallery and Image widget), not working only empty keyword input search result page. I’ve already checked WP default themes (29, 27, 26 and 25). But still showing the same problem. My new theme for ThemeForest will be recommended to use your plugin. But It has a bug. I’m still searching the bug in this plugin. If I got it I will confirm you. otherwise, if you get this please update it. Thanks again a lot for your earlier support.

I do not understand, what you are talking about. What is “search result page (Gallery and Image widget)”? Can you please tell me a URL where I can see the problem?

I don’t know, why the plugin resources are not queued – this must be a problem with the theme.

My plugin works with the regular WordPress themes – for example see here:

Please tell me the exact name of the widget to install. I don’t find any plugin which is called “gallery or image widget”.

Or even better – show me the bug in the source of my plugin and I will fix it:

The function which loads the assets is function enqueueScripts(). It is used in the constructor using add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', array($this, 'enqueueScripts'));.

I think, I got an idea – the markup of the plugin is only loaded, if the current page is not an error 404 page. In lightbox-photoswipe.php:

    function footer()
    {
        if ((!is_404() && in_array(get_the_ID(), $this->disabled_post_ids)) || !$this->enabled) return;

Usually on pages which are HTTP 404 (not found) don’t contain any gallery. That’s the reason why I exclude the markup on these pages. You can test removing the !is_404() condition, if that works:

    function footer()
    {
        if (in_array(get_the_ID(), $this->disabled_post_ids) || !$this->enabled) return;

Edit: this also has to be done in enqueueScripts():

        if (in_array($id, $this->disabled_post_ids)) $this->enabled = false;

Finally, The problem is solved but why are you checking it by “false”. Is it exact logic?
Anyway, the problem is solved but maybe I need to extend my theme documentation for the users.

It is my first Themeforest project so I was worried to use it but I want to recommended to use this plugin with my theme.

The logic was to exclude the plugin from HTTP 404 pages, as usually nobody uses galleries on pages with a 404 error. This was introduced when I added the option to exclude the plugin from pages/posts.

However – I just pushed an update to version 1.94 which now also includes the assets on pages with HTTP 404 error.
