    Hi!
I just installed this plugin on my site and i’m really impressed! It seems to be working fine but I just noticed that it didn’t pick up my friend going on to my site – there was nothing in the “currently online” section, the real time log didn’t show him on my site either.

My friend was using firefox, has adblock installed and also has bitdefender installed on his laptop, other than that it’s a normal set up.

I am using the following add ons:
    Custom DB
    Get Country
    MaxMind details

I don’t have any filters set up apart from my own username. I think I left all the options default.

I am sure SlimStat is working well because it’s showing other people on my site, and updating stats etc. but for some reason it doesn’t want to identify my friend who I spoke about above.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Slimstat has a hidden filter on webmaster’s friends, so that’s expected. Okay, jokes aside, it might be that some Firefox plugin is blocking the tracker. The only way to understand what’s happening, is to inspect the interaction between the server and your friend’s browser, by looking at the network tab in the dev tools. ADBlock is known to block our script, unfortunately. So maybe BitDefender does the same?
