• Great and useful plugin. If you want your site to work quickly – be sure to use it. Lots of features and ease of use. I recommend trying the Pro version. Thanks

@aleksandrx the free version allows you to unload CSS/JS on pages, posts and custom post types (e.g. WooCommerce product pages). Moreover, it can combine and minify remaining loaded CSS files. Additionally, it can unload Emojis, reset settings and has “Test Mode” support. I had people contacting me and saying the Free version is just enough for what they need and there’s no reason to upgrade to the Pro version.

Giving a 1-star rating (for a 5-star plugin) stating that “all functions are disabled” and advice others “do not use” is nonsense. This version is not “useless”. It’s in fact in continuous improvement and it will not exist the way it is now without the Pro version. Get your facts straight before giving such a rating. It’s disrespectful for all the hard work and support that was put into this plugin and the contribution it made to the WordPress community.

@aleksandrx note that Asset CleanUp is not a one-click solution and it just takes a bit of time to set it up, but the results are well worth it.

Your feedback is really short and suggests that perhaps you haven’t invested enough time to check it out?!

Some of the features that were locked weeks ago (including combine & minify JS files which are found on other free plugins) were released to the lite version. The freemium model is there for a purpose. Most of the free quality plugins out there won’t be where they are without having a Pro version to support them.

The main purpose of Asset CleanUp is to reduce bloating caused by CSS / JS files. Combined with a page caching plugin, this will guarantee an improvement of the page speed score, as the plugin suggests.

Could you explain in more details what you mean by “All functions are disabled.”? What particular feature you couldn’t you use that you found essential for the page speed score?

I wish you would give the plugin another go whenever you have the chance and perhaps you’ll change your mind about the “bribed” reviews statement. You saying that, is just an emotional reaction to whatever bad experience you had in the short time you used Asset CleanUp. I suggest you open a support thread on the forum if there are functionality issues.

    Best wishes!

    *Looks*

    Really?

@aleksandrx While your feedback isn’t nice or even that useful, saying “Do not read bribed reviews” went too far.

I’ve archived your and the other comments and I’ve flagged your account temporarily. Don’t make accusations like that, OK?

You made a statement. The author replied. That’s the whole story and let’s leave it at that.
