    Hi,

    I had the plugin setup and working for little over a month without any issues. However since two days all the payments are marked as ‘Not Paid’ in the plugin Messages section. I receive the payment notices from PayPal but form submissions have stopped as well. No settings were changed or WordPress/plugins were updated. IPN on PayPal has always been set to ‘Disabled’ so I doubt that’s the issue. What could be the issue? Do I have to enable the IPN? If so what would be the IPN URL?

    Hi,

    The IPN at PayPal must be enabled. The IPN notifications are needed to mark the item as paid and send the emails if PayPal payments are enabled.

    Check also the IPN history to check what happened to the notifications of the submissions not marked as paid.

    To check the PayPal IPN History use the following link:

    … or go this way:

    1- Log in to your PayPal account.

    2- Select Profile > Profile and settings > My selling tools.

    3- Click Update for Instant payment notifications.

    4- Click the link for IPN History page.

    Note: If you see a 403 response status for the IPN notification that may be due to the server firewall blocking the IPN notification.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply. There are no 403 responses, which is a good thing. I’m not sure how it worked all this time without the IPN being disabled. Any ideas?

    To enable IPN, PayPal asks for the Notification URL. What would that URL be?

    Hi,

    Sometimes the PayPal IPN is disabled due to a server downtime (multiple IPN notifications failed can cause PayPal disable the notifications).

    You can put your home page URL in the Notification URL setting. The real notification URL will be sent as part of each transaction on the submission time.
