I installed MaxButtons plugin so that I could have a popup “on-click” and I’ve done all of my editing for both the button and popup. I’m not sure what to add to the button’s URL section. I’ve read the https://supsystic.com/open-popup-on-click/ page and when clicking on “Click on certain link / button / other element” it does pull up three codes. I’ve tried inserting all three. The first one gave me a “page not found” result. The second code didn’t do anything at all. And the third code brought up a “403 forbidden” page.

The button is on https://www.hazygreenroad.com/about but I currently don’t have anything in the URL section.

    Hello!

The problem is that MaxButtons plugin doesn’t support shortcodes in URL field. Please write to the support of this plugin and ask them to implement supporting of shortcodes.

Meanwhile you can insert #ppsShowPopUp_100 into URL field (where 100 is the id of your popup) and paste this code <?php do_shortcode(‘[supsystic-show-popup id=93 load=”1″]’)?> into the footer of your template. In this case popup will work properly.

That still didn’t work. The only footer.php file I have is in the Genesis theme and I tried keeping the “id=93” and changing it to 100. It just stripped the css from the button and wouldn’t let my blog posts show up, nor the editing bar when previewing your page. And the popup still didn’t work as well.
