Not possible to change Status on Event page (WP5.6)

    Hey guys,

    After upgrading to WordPress 5.6, I noticed some bugs on the Events page.

    Navigate to Events → Event and try to change the event status. Here is the error in the browser console

    TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'e.className')

    Also it’s not possible to set Players in the Team section. Installing jQuery Migrate Helper plugin doesn’t help.

    I’m using the Rookie theme and the latest version of the SportsPress plugin.
    – WordPress 5.6
    – Rookie theme 1.5.3
    – SportsPress 2.7.4

    Hi @ramzesimus and @rochesterj,

    Sorry for not responding earlier. The issue was reproduced at the Event, Calendar and Player List edit pages. It seems to be a conflict with the new jquery version that was packed with new version of WordPress (5.6). The issue is already forwarded with an emergency flag to our developers!

    In the meantime you can try to install jQuery Migrate Helper and from the settings of this plugin switch back to the legacy version of jQuery. This is NOT the solution. This is a temporary solution until our developers fix this nusty bug ??

    Thanks for the info! jQuery Migrate Helper plugins helps if switched to the legacy mode. Waiting for the plugin update impatiently ??
