Not possible to change to available or booked

Hi there,
Unfortunately many reservations for holiday cottages are currently being cancelled…
My client is trying to change the availability however is suddenly not able anymore to change back to and from ‘available’ or ‘booked’.
Can you let me know what could cause this issue and how this can be solved?
