    – Reconnect-Button is redirecting to registration page, not of use for existing merchant api acccount
    – naming of fields inside plugin and amazon backend is different. so this is more like a try and error system
    – Download of json file at amazon backend isn’t available, so this is not possible
    – added api-credentials won’t be accepted from the plugin

So at this moment the new version isn’t useable for any kind of “get this working and done”

  • It is not working for me either, I get a “Can’t ship to…” error message when trying to pay with Amazon.

    Hey @fox-didl ,

    Hope you are doing well!

    – Reconnect-Button is redirecting to registration page, not of use for existing merchant api acccount

You are going to be sent to the registration page but before registration you can select “Sign in” link. (First select the country and go forward).

    – naming of fields inside plugin and amazon backend is different. so this is more like a try and error system

there are less fields but similar to version 1.13.1. let me know with which one you need help

    – Download of json file at amazon backend isn’t available, so this is not possible

if you mean the file to manual upload the key you need to get them from the Amazon Seller account

    – added api-credentials won’t be accepted from the plugin

Api credential are not used now, instead the v2 use the public and private keys.

Let me know if that helps,
    Best,
    Christian

I just reverted back to 1.3 version for now.

Hi again. OK, it’s finally working. Thanks for this update to check again in detail. This documentation to switch for an existing seller account isn’t solved nice. To find this login on registration page should be described better in the plugin – maybe with screenshots.

But now it’s working and after adding it’s necessary to do some information-updates inside amazon-backend to keep an overview about old and new accounts.

    Working and done. Thanks.

Please show a screenshot of where you can download this json file from Amazon Seller Central for an already-existing Amazon Pay account.

I have almost 30 years of IT and 12 or so with WP and Woo.

After pissing with this for 3 hours, I cannot make this work despite disabling all my web site security, disabling a bunch of plugins and enabling the legacy API. To say the instructions are confusing is an understatement.

One “assumes” that “Reconnect” means reconnect (connect) the V2 plugin with the existing Amazon Pay account associated with the Amazon Seller account (otherwise why use sign-in instead of create a new Amazon Pay account ?)

Amazon says it has successfully transferred the keys (so Amazon accepts the connection and transfers the keys to the existing Amazon Pay account), Woo plugin says it’s waiting for a response from Amazon.

I’ve had an Amazon Pay account for a year or so. There is NO PLACE to download JSON files and keys.

It’s really working but the documentation isn’t helpful. Forget this JSON file – it’s not there in amazon backend to download.

One the page with “create a new amazon account” below the fields on right side – there is the link for “you already have an account”. With this it’s working.

No, it doesn’t work. I sign in, I go through the process and tell it to transfer the credentials, it says it successfully transferred the credentials but Woocommerce Amazon Pay plugin just sits there waiting for the credentials to arrive and the ssl access log just continues to repeat:

    “GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=amazon_check_credentials&nonce=ef65cf720b HTTP/1.1” 200 26
    “GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=amazon_check_credentials&nonce=ef65cf720b HTTP/1.1” 200 26
    “GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=amazon_check_credentials&nonce=ef65cf720b HTTP/1.1” 200 26
    “POST /wc-api/wc_gateway_amazon_payments_advanced_merchant_onboarding/ HTTP/1.1” 200 20
    “GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=amazon_check_credentials&nonce=ef65cf720b HTTP/1.1” 200 26

ad infinitum. This is with all plugins except Woocommerce and Jetpack disabled and 2021 theme.

Hello. I am having a similar problem as the users above. Definitely not seeing this:

One the page with “create a new amazon account” below the fields on right side – there is the link for “you already have an account”.

    Help?!
