The best (I tested more than 10 galerie plugins)

  • He, I spent about 8 hours of searching, installing and uninstalling of gallery plugins (near all plugins with more than 10000 installs). This one is the best, even free, even paid.
    I very like possibility to rearrange the order of the images and the drag&drop upload.
    You can create your own gallery preference and then it takes very short time to create desired galleries.
    The only drawback is a little longer time to learn it (as it has so many possibilities). You needn’t use them – if you want only create a gallery, then there in Add/Import Files:
    choose album or type there a name of new one
    drag images
    rearrange them
    upload
    Then insert this “collection” in your page.

    I could help you with this. As I understand you talk about Phantom module, right?

    Go to edit gallery and on Advanced Settings tab add code below to Custom CSS field:

    .gmPhantom_ThumbContainer {
    padding-bottom: 35px !important;
}
.gmPhantom_ThumbLabel {
    top: auto !important;
    color: #222 !important;
    background-color: #ffffff !important;
    bottom: 0 !important;
}

    This will make thumbnails look like polaroid photos. Let me know if it fit your needs.

    Also you can save Module Preset as default, so this code will automatically be added to new gallery.

    I’ll add label position option to Phantom module in the future. Thanks for review.

    Oh, many thanks for quick and right solution. I thought that it should be possible to do it by modifying of CSS, but it is rather complicated.

    I forgot to test it on a mobile – there the titles overlap the thumbnails. Do you have any idea?

    I noticed another two problems on mobile phones:

    In lightbox when I click on an image (Phantom module) then the image title appears in the middle of this image (this was before CSS changes too).

    I tried your https://codeasily.com/portfolio-item/gmedia-mosaic/ – when I click on an image then it freezes.
    Photomania had issues too, but different.

    I tested it on 2 my phones (Android 5 MIUI and 4.4, Opera) – on both it is the same.

    Unfortunately, I haven’t android smartphone, so I can’t test on it. I’ll try to fix Phantom and Mosaic modules as soon as possible and let you know.
