• I can not view my istalled plugins and/or use the editor of these plugins. When I click on this in the right sidebar of the dashboard, the only thing that appears in the window is: Manage Plugins (Add New)
So, no WP upgrade possible and now no possible to see my plugins (active and inactive). However, the installed pluggins work

    any idea?
    thanks a lot

  • One idea is, are you using a custom theme which also changed WP Dashboard area? The Admin links are on the left sidebar. Change to default WP theme and see if you can access Plugins Installed panel.

Also are you in your own self-hosted blog or on blog within WordPress MU installation? In WPMU, sub-blog Admins can be restricted/prevented by Site Admins from seeing the Plugins Installed panel.

If you are on WP and not WPMU, did you install WP via Fantastico or simple scripts, etc? How were you able to activate the plugins without viewing the Plugins Installed panel, via Auto Install then activate?

P.S. Just checked the other topics you posted .. deactivate plugins via FTP by renaming plugins folder and see if you can access Plugins Installed panel.

    thanks a lot for this
I found the problem. It is a fatal error due to allowed memory
apparently linked with the number of plugins installed.
I cleared first all plugins and then started activating one by one until it was stuck again. Now, it works but still the question remains about the capacity in installed plugins

I will check with my host provider (yes, I am in my self-hosted blog)
to see if they can do something about it
