Not Posting

I am having the same problems as described by others since updating to version 6.0. The first time I clicked “Start Tweet” I received the “This request looks like it might be automated. To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, we can’t complete this action right now. Please try again later.” message. Now there is no message, but no tweets are being sent.

I will downgrade to 4.0.10; hope that gets things working again until these problems are resolved.

The downgrade worked; TOP 4.0.10 successfully tweets. I didn’t lose any settings except that I had to add in my custom hashtags again.

I just got the answer from twitter and looks like there is an issue on their side :

This is still not working for me. I’ve had TOP set up to tweet every 8 hours, but this has not worked in 2 days. I’ve upgraded to 6.1, I’ve unauthorized and re-authorized my Twitter account several times, and I’ve clicked Start Tweet several times. Any suggestions?

What message do you see when you click start tweet and wait 20s ? sample tweet is working fine ?

The current message is: Tweet Old Post is set to tweet on a 8 hours interval, and the next tweet will take place in: Your tweet was just sent to twitter server. Refresh the page to see when the next one will be posted.

Sample tweet DOES appear to be working.

Still not working for me, either. Reauthorized and everything. There’s no error message from twitter anymore, and the countdown is working. But once I hit zero and restart the countdown, it doesn’t tweet.

I should have mentioned – the countdown was also working for me, but even when it zero (about 20 minutes ago), it still would not tweet.

Just got it to work on one site. Here’s what I did. 1) Revoked access in Twitter. 2)Deleted Twitter account in TOP. 3)Stop tweet 4) Reauthorized app. 5) Start tweet.

Tried that. Still wont work. What a disaster this has been.
This plugin was my biggest traffic referrer and now it hasn’t worked for two days. ??

I get this error message:
Error for your last tweet was :’The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/overview.’

Also I dont see correctly my account in the twitter login option.
