Not posting tweets

  • My blog has also stopped automatically publishing tweets when I post, even though it worked when I first installed the plugin and I have it set to automatically tweet.

    It says “Unpublished – Old Post”, even though the post had never been published before.

    In some of my test blogs, I also had error messages like what you are seeing… no explanation as to why the tweets failed.

    Have you tried de-authorizing or re-authorizing WordTwit with the Twitter accounts affected? When Twitter switched to the 1.1API it affected users who had previously been using WordTwit.

    Most of the time de-authorizing and re-authorizing WordTwit and setting it up with your custom application information works to resolve this issue.
