    Hello Damian,

    Yesterday I gave your plugin “Email Templates” a 5 star review. Today to my surprise I have just gone into the WP Customizer to edit the email template. The live preview of the template is not showing, and sending a “test” email doesn’t work either. I think the only thing that has changed on my WP site is that I allowed the plugin update yesterday.

    Do you have any ideas on what’s going wrong here Damian.

  • If you updated your site maybe another plugin got updated that is broking it? Try deactivating other plugins to see if you find the cause. The update I released was a really tiny update and just double checked and everything is working on my end.

    Hi Damian,

    Thanks for getting back to me, and I’m sorry to take so long to reply. I have de-activated all plugins except “Email Templates” and the problem reported above remains. I have gone through this process on several other websites I manage as well. without success.

    Have you been contacted by any other users of this plugin with the same problem I’ve reported?

    Not sure what to say , I just tried on a clean site downloading the plugin from repository and works just fine. I do see the customizer template and test email arrives fine.
    I tried on latest wordpress version and on php 5.3 and 5.6 and worked everytime

    Hello Damian,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I have solved the problem. I was trying to get to the email customizer options by opening WP’s Appearance/Customise/Email Templates/. This takes me to the Cutomizer Panel showing “You are customizing Email Templates”. However, while I can use any of the customisation options for the email, I can’t see the real-time preview.

    The solution is to hover the mouse over “Appearance” in the WP Admin sidebar menu. The sub-menu popout includes “Email Templates”. If I click on that item, I go to “You are customizing Email Templates” in the WP Customizer, and the real-time email template preview is visible, and updates as I make changes to the email template.

    So – problem solved, and I am a very happy camper once again.

    Thank you for this wonderful plugin Damian. I am testing it on several websites, and now that this problem is resolved, I am getting the results exactly as I want them.
