Is there any change if you look at the page text view instead of visual view that there is any hidden HTML code being inserted in there?

There shouldn’t be any problem with long URLs with querystrings – I use them all the time for ebay searches and such.

Thanks for the speedy reply, Jason.

I looked in both tabs, but the line looks the same in both. This is what it looks like on the text view:

    [hungryfeed url=”https://connect.garmin.com/feed/rss/activities?feedname=Garmin%20Connect%20-%20the_pharaoh&owner=the_pharaoh&actionMethod=page/user/signin.xhtml:userSwitcher.switchSystem&cid=356344″ max_items=”5″]

I have tried this feed with a number of various RSS plugins and got the same result, so I’m wondering if perhaps it has something to do with the underlying RSS readers the plugins use?

Hmm those %20 characters might be part of the problem. Maybe try replacing them with spaces instead..?

It’s kinda hard to solve without basically just experimenting because the params get sent through the WordPress shortcode API, then into the SimplePie RSS class and then on to Curl or whatever is making the post. There’s a few places in the code where url encoding can get messed up.

Sorry folks i try to get it up and running – but without any luck! Plz advice me.

I just tried your feed and it worked, so there must be a funky character or something hidden in your code. This can happen especially if you copy/paste while using “Visual” view.

Try going to the Text view instead of the Visual view and then paste the code that you included above.
