I have Membership installed and created an acces level :Guest and it’s set that viewers are leveled as guest.
Whenever somebody comes to the registration page, and he register, but after registration, before you pay, you’re alrady registered, and when you got the url of a protected page, the user is able to view all the files, without even have paied to the plans…
    How to solve this?

  • Hi @tanckom,

    I hope you’re well today! ??

You can actually set a default subscription for new registrations at Membership > Options > General. It’s the “Use subscription” setting.

Did you have anything set there by any chance?

Would it work for you to setup a free subscription to use for that, one that uses the Guest access level (users could still upgrade to a paid subscription)?

Looking forward to your reply. ??

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi @tanckom,

    Thanks you for your reply.

If the user registers on the site then it doesn’t mean it also got subscribed. The subscription is different from the registration.

when you got the url of a protected page, the user is able to view all the files, without even have paied to the plans…

Could you please tell me how you have protected the page?

Have you listed all urls of the files on this protected page?

Do you mean you are using Membership Access level shortcodes to hide it?

    Please advise.
