not pulling information from google calendar

    Hello,

    I just linked my google calendar to the Simple Calendar plugin however it only shows “Event” instead of the Event title I have in Google Calendar. I also had to manually enter in the time and location on the Simple Calendar plugin, can it not pull that information from what I have entered on Google Calendar?

    hobysd.org/wp/calendar is where I have the calendar at right now.

    Hello,

    I just took a look at your calendar page and it looks like you switched plugins. I am going to go ahead and mark this resolved. If you try using our plugin again and have an issue please let us know and I will be happy to help. I will still answer this in case anyone else comes across this thread.

    The issue you did encounter though with the “Event” showing is likely because your calendar was a private calendar or not fully public. You might have had the “Show only free/busy schedule” option checked in Google Calendar and this is what normally causes that to happen.

    For the other issue I am not sure what you mean because we don’t have a spot to manually enter time or locations in the plugin – it only gets this information from Google. You might have just needed to check out the event template tags here: https://docs.simplecalendar.io/event-template-tags/
