I’ve got the push comments box checked but its not pushing comments to my Fan Page (although the Posts are going there fine). Any idea what might be going wrong?

Comment handing to Fan pages/groups isn’t supported in V1 due to the way it was coded.

I have two FB logins, one under my name and one as a group under the company name – along with a fan page under company name.

Before the changes, it used to post to the group page and to the fan page. But now it tells me I don’t have a fan page, and it will also not let me change the settings to current logged in user – it keeps it under my personal setting – Jackson.

Even if I log in as jackson jewellery (company group) it will not let me post, but it does post to my personal page which is not what I want.

Under “update Facebook status”, I have it set for:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jackson-Jewellery/143874692342 – but if I look that up on FB, it also has a 67 at the end of it – I can’t add any more numbers onto that status.

Can you tell me how to get this working again? I really loved having it.

Update FB status shouldn’t contain a url – it should contain short codes and text as explained in the user manual.

Make sure that the session you have in Wordbooker is the user who has the admin privs on the page walls you want to post to.

Can you turn on the advanced diagnostics and do a Status Refresh and post the resulting trace in a thread over on the discussions area over on the main Wordbooker page on Facebook.

Thanks for your help. I went through the manual (for some reason I didn’t find it before), and I think I got everything working the way it worked before.

So I’m a happy camper, and I thank you again.

I guess the only question I have now is whether I always have to be logged in as the ‘company’ in facebook, or is there a way to set it so that it doesn’t matter who I’m logged in as but still have it post to where I want it to post.

If you set the “post as” option to a specific user and then set the “Allow non wordbooker users to post” option and then set the next option (which allows non wordbooker users the option of choosing to publish or not) then anyone using the blog will post using the settings set at the user level for the user you set at the blog level.
