Hi there, just installed the plugin and am testing with my multilanguage site (german / english).

Looks like the wishlists are associated with one language only. If I put a product in my wishlist when using German, it shows there fine. When I change to english it says my wishlist is empty.

The WPML instructions are missing from your documentation, or I should say what is there is unfortunately not useful.

Also I am able to translate many strings via WPML string translator but there are a few I cannot such as the “Apply Action” button from the wishlist page.

Otherwise the plugin looks great and I am looking forward to using it if I can get these issues sorted out.

    Grateful for any help.

    regards

p.s forgot to mention I can only apply it to one language menu. I want the wishlist counter in my secondary menu, I did this from the settings but I have to choose between the German and English version of the menus. It doesnt show in the one I didnt select.

So I was finally able to find all the necessary WPML strings to translate. I also figured out how to manually add the wishlist to the second language menu.

Now my only issue is that the wishlist is only associated with one language. Your settings require the user to select the wishlist page from all available pages, WPML translates the wishlist page using a separate page so I need to select both language pages but cannot.

    thank you for any support.

    Hi @dfel,

To translate the Wishlist page you shouldn’t change any options in the Wishlist plugin Settings. The page should be applied once in your main language. Then you need to create duplicates of the Wishlist page for every your language.

You can also contact us via our live chat from your WP admin panel, so we will be able to assist you managing the settings.

    Regards,
    Stan
