    I’m not receiving any notification emails from Wordfence on one of my sites. I see that this issue is pretty common, but I have yet to see a solution.

    I sent a test email and it came through with not problem. It’s just the notifications from Wordfence that aren’t working.

    Suggestions?

    Hi,

    Sometimes this is caused by spam filters causing messages to be dropped, based on the content of the message — since the test message is very simple, it generally gets through easily. Your site’s host and your mail provider may be able to confirm if any messages are being blocked, without even reaching your spam folder.

    It could also be that the scans are not completing, if there is a problem with timeouts or the host’s memory limit — if you look at the Scan page, do you see a line like “Scan complete. You have 2 new issues to fix.” at the bottom of the first yellow box, with today or yesterday’s date?

    There is also a possibility of a plugin conflict, but that is a bit harder to track down by the usual methods, since you would need a new issue to appear in the scan results while other plugins are disabled. If you know where to find the “error log” file for your site, you could check to see if there are any error messages there at the time that the scans are running, which would help if that is the case.
