Not receiving comment notifications for one site

    We are not receiving comment notifications at admin email for this site.

    We tried:
    – moving a full copy of the site to staging and disabling all the plugins. Still not receiving the email notifications when new comment is awaiting moderation.
    – tried changing to different email address for admin that we use on another site where comment notifications are being received from

    Nothing seems to work and we can’t figure out why the notifications are not being sent/received.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Hi @jferriga,

    Are you using any SMTP plugin? If yes then which one?

    I will suggest to check if you are receiving any other email notifications on the admin email?

    No, Ketan, no STMP plugin. We actually tried a few because we thought that might help. We caontacted Flywheel our host to see if they could help pinpoint the problem and they told us because of their set up (can’t remember the details), they didn’t recommend using a STMP plugin. We have several sites including our business one hosted at Flywheel with no issue with comment notifications.
    Really am stumped as to why we aren’t getting any from this site.
    We do get other admin notifications from this site e.g. new user registration
