  • Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.

    See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

    I just upgraded to WP 4 and got a similar fault. Contact Form says OK and email logs says that it has been sent, but no mail was received.

    Solution which for worked me; Just deactivaed and reactivate the CF plugin.

    Hi,

    I’m having the same problem and I deactive and active CF plugin and still not working, I’m not receiving the email from my page. Can some let me know what else can it be. I also contact my hosting, they already did their part and still nothing.

    @gory523 – Deactivating and reactivating the CF plugin is just one of a number of possible actions you may need to consider to solve your particular problem. It worked for mostman, but it’s unlikely to be relevant for most people.

    See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. There is a link at the bottom of the page to a comprehensive and detailed article which covers a wide range of issues.

    @buzztone,

    I have done that already, and still doesn’t work, I get the green box that it went out but I don’t receive it. Already, when thru that list as well too, still I get no email. thanks

    @gory523 – did you work through the section Your email may be treated as spam. That’s most relevant in your case.

    @buzztone,

    Yes, did went over the section that email may be treated as spam, already added headers to each contact and I still nothing, trust me not trying to be difficult here, I doing everything on the support list to resolve this issue, been reading all day and doing what others have done to see if the problem gets fix and I haven’t got any luck

    @gory123 – Please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface.

    @buzztone,

    I just put a patch to the problem, I download WP Bank Mail plugin and it is working so far not sure it will last, just trying to get it to work for now. Also, here is the link to my contact https://www.gwfuntravel.com/wp/contact/

    What else you need? Not sure what you mean about mail sections on CF7 interface, you mean the code id of the form that I made?

    @buzztone,

    got your email thru the CF7 it works now with the WP Bank Mail.

    Thanks for sharing WP Bank Mail @gory523, I was experiencing the same problem. I’m now receiving emails.

    @k. Carter – WP Bank Mail is really just another plugin that assists in setting up using SMTP to send emails from WordPress. While it helped @gory523 solve their problem it is unlikely to be particularly relevant to most people having CF7 email sending issues.

    Also people should avoid setting up SMTP to send email if they don’t need to. Using SMTP can contribute to a number of other email sending issues.

    @buzztone, I’m using CF7 plugin and it’s weird I would receive emails sporadically when testing from my live server, but once I install the WP Bank SMTP, I now receive every email that I test from my contact form. I’m only using the SMTP to receive emails from my contact form.

    Not sure if the issue was becasue I was using my gmail account that I wasn’t receiving emails.

    Hi guys I am having the same issue. I have tried everything and it still does not seem to be working. Can someone please save me???

    @athletesdream have you tried installing WP Bank SMTP? Installing that with CF7 worked for me.
