Not Receiving Email Notifications

Okay, it seems my last thread has somehow been lost, and there was a misunderstanding as to the problem anyway, so I’m re-posting.

Since at least 4.1 (and possibly 4.0 as well), I have noticed that I am no longer receiving email notifications. This is a problem, as I have it set up to email me when there are posting errors so I can re-post if necessary – without this I have to manually check each post every day to see if it posted okay. This works fine in 3.x (which I have reverted to for now).
