Not Receiving Emails, but it says Message Sent Successfully

FAQ > I see a response message “Your message was sent successfully” with green border, but I never receive a mail for that.

Thank you, but like I said, I already checked my spam folder and it’s not there. I am not receiving the emails at all, yet it’s telling people their message was sent successfully…

A couple things to check…

1. Set your from email to an address on the site domain and use the Additional Header to set the reply-to email. Outlined here. Sometimes email services reject an email sent from an email address that doesn’t match the sending domain.

2. If you are using Linux cPanel for hosting and your MX record in your domain DNS is set to something different than your hosting server. Make sure to set your MX Entry (in cPanel) to “Remote Mail Exchange”. Otherwise it tries to send the email to an address on the server. So nothing is received.
