Not receiving emails to my domain

Hi,
My ‘Email to’ and ‘Return-path address’ are set up with different @mydomain.com email addresses, as instructed. However, I am not receiving emails to my ‘Email to’ address. If I use the test function within the plugin, I receive the email to @mydomain.com, however, when testing out the form, I don’t receive anything.
If I change the ‘Email to’ to an outside domain such as gmail or yahoo, then I receive the contact submission perfectly, however, this isn’t ideal to use my own personal email as a destination.
I’ve ticked “Enable when web host requires “Mail From” strictly tied to site.“, deactivated plugins, made sure the server IP was not blacklisted and also tried the WP Mail SMTP plugin but none of these solutions have done anything. Any ideas?
One thing I should note is that my website is hosted using Gridhost, whilst the emails are set up with Messagelabs. However, the MX records have been updated accordingly. I wasn’t sure if this may have an affect.
