  • Hello @pvij

I could not find any common panel configured or any mail server to the IP.

Do you use a plugin to send the emails “form?” if yes, does it use a local SMTP server or an external SMTP?

Local normally still be configured as localhost, if yes, depending on the plugin they have a test option, which you can test and troubleshoot if there’s an issue.

If it’s an external SMTP it could be caused by a connection issue to the SMPT server.

Based on your IP information, you’re using https://wpx.net, in this case, I recommend you to contact their support: https://wpx.net/tickets/new/

    Hi Yasu,

    Thank you for the reply.

I just checked with my WPX services and they said for this website we are not using their email services.

How can I check which email serivces are setup for my website?

    Hello @pvij

I believe in this case you are using an external SMTP “Simple Mail Transfer Protocol” which is the protocol to send out the emails.

I’m not sure if you’re the developer of the website, but you may login to your WordPress and go to Plugins > and look for something like “Contact form” and open the plugin settings, you should be able to see something related with SMTP SERVER

But if you’re not the developer and if you’re not familiar with how the website was created, you may consider contacting the developer to further assist you.

    Hey Yasu,

It worked for one of the website but not yet for nieuvision page.

I am a beginer and still learning.

    Hello @pvij

I understand how this is important for you, but in this case, you may consider contacting a developer to further assist you. But allow me to highlight some possible causes:

    – Your website use a plugin to create a contact form and it’s not proprely configured/
    – The provided said you don’t use their mail server, which means you use an external mail provider, in this case, it could be any provider From Gmail to SendGrid
    – Mail server using the protocol SMPT uses the ports 25,465 and 587 and outgoing ports must be open, in case they are filtered, you’ll not be able to send the emails, the difference between the ports are the protocols they use SSL/TLS, etc
    – Another possible cause, would be the fact the website was configured to use as an example SendGrid but the account was canceled/suspended or reached the limits per day.
    – Could be also the fact the plugin is inactive or corrupted.

But since you are not familiar with the website or the tools, the best way to troubleshoot would be to contact a web developer or someone with experience with WordPress.
